Yoda

Registered Dental Hygienist
I am a Colorado native that loves all the natural beauty that this state has to offer. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at CCD in 2017 with honors as the student representative and received the Professional Leadership award. My focus is evidence-based dentistry along with gentle, but thorough dental cleanings. With a strong passion in public health, my hope is to help reduce oral health disparities.

I am married with three incredible children and two pit bull rescues. Our family motto is “love and kindness are never wasted.” I am excited to join the Miyamoto team with the same energy.

YESSENYA

Registered Dental Hygienist
I am originally from California, but grew up in the Midwest. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. I have a passion for oral health education and strive to create an enjoyable and informative experience for all patients. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and what makes them happy. Getting to build relationships while caring for others is one of the major reasons for why I love my career.

I moved to Colorado to be closer to the mountains and experience more sunny days where I can enjoy my outdoor interests year-round. I enjoy hiking, cycling, kayaking, and discovering new parks where I can hammock when I need to relax.

CHRISTY

Certified Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)
I am a Certified EDDA with over 7 years of experience. I am passionate about taking care of my patient's needs and making sure they have the best dental experience when they’re in my chair. My goal is to learn something new every day to make sure I become better personally and professionally.

I am a Colorado native and am a mother of two! I love spending time with my family and traveling with them as much as I can. I am extremely excited to be a part of the Miyamoto Family Dental team!

Virginia

Patient Coordinator
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I have been married for 42 years. I have a son and a daughter and one grandson. I love living in Colorado; it allows me to camp, fish, hike all summer long with my family or snowshoe or snowmobile in the winter.

I started my career in dentistry when a friend asked me if I was interested in becoming a dental assistant. I told her “yes” and the rest is history. I have been in the field for over 25 years. It has allowed me many wonderful opportunities and I have met many people who have made a great impact on my life.

The joy for me is in helping our patients with any dental needs they may have and truly getting to know them. It makes my job more enjoyable. I have truly been blessed!

Hannah

Office Coordinator
I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Gerontology. Previously, I worked in the gerontological field, at the Department of Education, and volunteered abroad. Working with a diverse and dynamic group of people is something I always look for, so I was excited to join the Miyamoto Family Dental team. I feel very lucky to be a part of an office that is focused on quality care as well as quality relationships with patients.

Outside of the office my biggest passion is travel. I spent most of 2018 travelling the world, going everywhere from Albania to Malaysia. I can’t wait to see where life takes me next!
